About the Schemes (Annadata Sukhibhava and PM Kisan)
The Annadata Sukhibhava scheme was launched by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on August 2, 2025, as a state investment support program that provides annual assistance of ₹20,000 to eligible farmers across three installments. The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is a central government program that has distributed over ₹3.70 lakh crore across more than 11 crore farmer families nationwide through 20 prior installments since its launch in February 2019.
Launch and Key Arrangements
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will formally launch the disbursement program in Kamalapuram constituency of YSR Kadapa district on November 19. The proceedings will be broadcast live across over 10,000 Rythu Seva Kendras (Farmer Service Centres) throughout the state.
Agriculture Minister Kinjirapu Atchannaidu has directed officials to take several precautions to ensure smooth implementation:
- Activate inactive bank accounts monitored through the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI)
- Process death mutations for deceased farmers to ensure benefits reach their legal heirs
- Simplify online registration procedures for newly eligible farmers
- Establish a toll-free helpline for grievance redressal
- Send SMS alerts to all beneficiaries one day in advance to ensure account activation
Administrative Preparations
Officials from all 26 districts have been instructed to conduct awareness programs in villages and resolve complaints from farmers who may have missed the first installment due to Aadhaar linking or Webland record errors. The minister emphasized that supporting farmers is not merely a burden but a responsibility of the government.
